Benedikt Spies

Dr. Spies received the Dr Med Dent (2010) and PhD/Privatdozent (2017) degrees from the University of Freiburg, where he worked as an Assistant and Associate Professor at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, Medical Center – University of Freiburg from 2011-2017. In 2014, he was appointed board-certified specialist for oral implantology (German Association of Oral Implantology; DGI) and in the same year board-certified specialist for prosthodontics and biomaterials (German Society for Prosthetic Dentistry; DGPro).  From 2017-2020, he was serving as an Associate Professor and Deputy Chair at Department of Prosthodontics, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. In 2019, he was appointed W3-Professor at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, Medical Center – University of Freiburg, where he is serving as Chair and Medical Director since 2020.
