Katja Nelson

Professor Dr. Katja Nelson graduated from the Free University, Berlin, Germany. She was trained as an Oral Surgeon in the Clinic for Oral- and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Charité Campus Virchow, Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany, where she also received her PhD. Currently she is at the University of Freiburg with the first Chair for Implantology in Germany (Chair of Translational Implantology). She received numerous international/national awards and is President of the Trinational Society of Dentists of the Upper-Rhine.
